It’s finally here! After months of delays and the announcement that it would be arriving on HBO Max the same day as in theaters, “Wonder Woman 1984” is upon us. And this week’s episode of The Playlist Podcast features Charles and Mike are here to discuss the good, the bad, and the campy in one of the most anticipated films of the year. Joining the hosts in the discussion of all things “Wonder Woman 1984,” Sharronda Williams, the founder of Pay or Wait, makes her first appearance on the podcast to add her thoughts on the film.

“Wonder Woman 1984” is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, and Kristen Wiig. The film follows the superhero to the 1980s and talks about the importance of truth and not taking shortcuts. Though, according to one of the folks on the podcast, perhaps Patty Jenkins should have taken her own advice when constructing the story of this feature. Trust us, we have thoughts.
