‘Wounds’ First Look: Dakota Johnson & Armie Hammer Star In Babak Anvar’s New Sundance-Bound Horror

You know what’s high up on our list of the most anticipated films of 2019? British-Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvar’s latest horror film and follow-up to the critically acclaimed “Under The Shadow.” Titled “Wounds,” the movie stars Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Karl Glusman, Brad William Henke and centers on disturbing and mysterious things that begin to happen to a bartender in New Orleans after he picks up a phone left behind at his bar.

Well, it’s now making its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival taking place from Jan. 24 to Feb. 4. Before we ring the New Year’s bell in, the Sundance Institute has added five features (films with Demi Moore, Ray Romano and the Duplass brothers) and a Special Event today festival, but “Wounds” is the big highlight.
