Released with little fanfare in 2020 (though I thought it was great), “Becky” is an over-the-top, uber-violent take on the “Home Alone”-style film, as a young girl has to protect herself from intruders. It’s just a lot of fun. Now, three years later, a sequel is coming, titled “Wrath of Becky,” and as the new teaser shows, this is going to be just as bloody as its predecessor.

“Wrath of Becky” picks up a few years after the end of “Becky.” The young girl, Becky, is now a little older and living with a new guardian, Elena. But wouldn’t you know it? Some assholes try to break into their home and bring harm to Becky and her new family. As you might expect, things get pretty damn violent.
The film sees the return of Lulu Wilson as Becky. She’s joined in the cast by Seann William Scott, Denise Burse, Jill Larson, Courtney Gains, Michael Sirow, Aaron Dalla Villa, Matt Angel, and Kate Siegel. “Wrath of Becky” is directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote, with Angel also writing the script.
