Ok, this is apparently an old rumor from August courtesy of JoBlo (too bad their search is for shit) that we resurface on Canada.com randomly (from the Saskatoon press!). Billy Bob Thornton is rumored to be playing Bruce Springsteen in an upcoming biopic? That’s all the info there is, it’s just a rumor, but WTF?
If you’re going to to do a biopic, you probably have to span a few years of someone’s life and it’s not like Billy Bob looks any younger. Thornton is 53 and the Boss is 59 (damn!), but the rocker still does look pretty damn fit. Would it be a biopic of his last tour? Probably just a rumor so file it there for now, but weird, right?
