This weekend on Lifetime, James Franco is reviving the ’90s campy cult classic, “Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?” In addition to producing, Franco takes a starring role, with Tori Spelling (who also featured in the 1996 original), Leila George, Emily Meade and Nick Eversman joining him in this new take on the vampire love story, which already promises to be one of the TV talking points of the summer. And as you can hear below in the tracks “Leah and Pearl” (featuring Claire Acey) and “The Photo Lab,” Iha’s contributions will be both lush and haunting.
“Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?” debuts on Saturday, June 18th at 8 PM.
