Wentworth Miller Pens 'Uncle Charlie,' A Prequel To 'Stoker'

Extraordinarily goodlooking actor Wentworth Miller (“Prison Break”) is proving to be more than just a very, very, very pretty face, having written not one but two screenplays, both of which are currently generating some buzz. Writing under the pen name Ted Foulke, Miller has completed “Stoker,” which already has Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster attached to star and Ridley Scott to direct, and follows “the story of an eccentric teen whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl’s father.”

Miller has also completed a script for a potential prequel, “Uncle Charlie”. Together the films detail stories from different generations of the same dysfunctional family who, in Deadline’s words “have a knack for burying secrets, as well as bodies.” Fox Searchlight is one of the shops reportedly interested in acquiring both scripts. Well done, handsome dude, well done. — Jessica Kiang
