Zack Snyder Brushes Off Rumors That 'Justice League' Is 3 Hours Long

The internet proved this week it has quite a short attention span. Back in February, (highly dubious) rumors flew around that “The Fate Of The Furious” was going to be 2 hours and 40 minutes long, only for that to turn out to be totally wrong. The film screened at CinemaCon where it came in at a totally reasonable 2 hours and 8 minutes. Literally the next day, Twitter erupted with more highly dubious rumors that “Justice League” was going to clock in at 2 hours and 50 minutes (fuelled in part by that running time being posted on IMDB). The requisite alarm coupled with moaning and groaning followed, but of course, that intel isn’t true.

Director Zack Snyder himself took the winds out of the sail, by getting rather cheeky on Twitter about the entire affair:

Well played Zack Snyder, well played. It probably doesn’t need to be said… wait, it appears it does need to be said that a running time being posted eight months before a movie opens probably isn’t correct, and let’s remember that the next time someone says posits that, oh, I dunno, “Aquaman” will be 3.5 hours long.
