“Little House on the Prairie”
Based on the book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, “Little House on the Prairie” is the latest screen iteration of the famous story, following the original 1970s series starring Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert. The historical drama follows the Ingalls family as they build a life on a Midwest farm in the late 19th century. Developed by Rebecca Sonnenshine, the series stars Alice Halsey, Luke Bracey, Crosby Fitzgerald, and Skywalker Hughes.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres July 9 on Netflix.
“The Five-Star Weekend”
Based on the 2023 novel by Elin Hilderbrand, “The Five-Star Weekend” has assembled a formidable cast. Garner, Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, D’Arcy Carden, and Gemma Chan star as a group of friends who retreat to Nantucket as one of their own, a food blogger, attempts to process a devastating loss. The series was developed by Bekah Brunstetter, with Garner also serving as one of the show’s producers.

“The Westies”
Set in 1980s Hell’s Kitchen, “The Westies” follows two men who grow up together but end up on opposite sides of the law: one becomes a police officer, the other rises to lead the Westies criminal gang. Created by Chris Brancato and Michael Panes, the crime drama stars J.K. Simmons, Tom Brittney, Titus Welliver, and Jessica Frances Dukes.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres July 12 on MGM+.
“Lucky”
Taylor-Joy returns to television with the crime thriller “Lucky,” created by Jonathan Tropper (“Warrior,” “Your Friends & Neighbors”). Based on the novel by Marissa Stapley, the series follows a con artist whose latest heist goes sideways, sending her on the run from dangerous forces. Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor also star.
