“Lord of the Rings: War of Rohirrim”
Middle Earth is getting the animated treatment in the anime fantasy film, “Lord of the Rings: War of Rohirrim,” directed by Kenji Kamiyama. The story takes place well over a hundred years before the Peter Jackson trilogy and focuses on the legendary king of Rohan and his and his family’s defense of their kingdom.

Peter Sarsgaard, John Magaro, Ben Chaplin, and Leonie Benesch star in the historical drama, “September 5,” from director Tim Fehlbaum (“Tides.”) The story, based on true events, follows the 1972 Munich Olympic hostage crisis through the eyes of the ABC Sports crew. (Read our review)

“Nickel Boys”
Shot in an immersive first-person perspective, director RaMell Ross (“Hale County This Morning, This Evening”) adapts Colson Whitehead’s award-winning “Nickel Boys.” Ethan Herisse, Brandon Wilson, and Aunjanue Ellie-Taylor star in the film which tells the story of two African American boys, Elwood and Turner, who are forced to endure the horror and trauma of the abusive school called Nickel Academy.
