You have to imagine it’s going to be a pretty great year for Finn Wolfhard. Not only is the final season of “Stranger Things” expected to release this year, but his directorial debut, “Hell of a Summer,” is getting released this spring.

As seen in the trailer for the film, “Hell of a Summer” tells the story of a camp counselor, who is struggling with finding his place at work. Things get even more complicated (and deadly) when a masked killer begins to murder counselors one by one.

The cast includes Fred Hechinger, Abby Quinn, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Billy Bryk, Finn Wolfhard, Pardis Saremi, Rosebud Baker, and Adam Pally. The film is written and directed by the duo of Billy Bryk and Finn Wolfhard. “Hell of a Summer” marks the feature film directorial debut for them.

Here’s the synopsis:
Hell of a Summer follows 24-year-old camp counselor Jason Hochberg (Hechinger), who arrives at Camp Pineway thinking his biggest problem is that he feels out of touch with his teenage co-workers. What he doesn’t know is that a masked killer is lurking on the campgrounds, brutally picking counselors off one by one.
