“The Brutalist”

“Sonic the Hedgehog 3”
The video game adaptation returns for its third outing with “Sonic the Hedgehog 3,” directed by Jeff Fowler and starring the returning Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Idris Elba. The team must face off against a new enemy Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves.

“The Room Next Door”

“Mufasa: The Lion King”
Award-winning director Barry Jenkins tries his hand at Disney live-action with the upcoming prequel, “Mufasa: The Lion King.” The film, starring Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr., follows the orphaned cub Mufasa and his meeting and subsequent friendship with a lion named Taka.

“Babygirl”
Nicole Kidman plays a high-powered CEO who is looking for a release in an affair with a much younger intern in Halina Reijn’s (“Bodies Bodies Bodies”) “Babygirl.” Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde, and Antonio Banderas also star in this complex study of power dynamics and sexuality. (Read our review)
