'7500' Exclusive Clip: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Takes Control Against Hijackers In Amazon's New Thriller

Even though theaters have been shut down for months, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t incredible new films being released. It’s just that instead of dragging the family to the big screen, spending loads of money on concessions, and dealing with the people on their cellphones, you can enjoy great cinema, such as “7500,” in the comfort of your home.

And in honor of “7500” arriving on Amazon Prime Video today, we’re thrilled to offer our readers an exclusive look at a clip from the film. And this clip perfectly encapsulates what makes the new feature, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a must-see, as “7500” is one of the most edge-of-your-seat film experiences you’ll have all year.

“7500” tells the story of a young co-pilot that has to deal with a terrorist hijacking on his aircraft. Told within the confines of the cockpit, the pilot has to make sure that he is able to keep everyone on the plane safe from harm (including his girlfriend, who is a flight attendant), as well as make sure that the terrorists don’t infiltrate his cockpit to do more harm and potentially down the airplane.

If that sounds a bit overwhelming, then you’re starting to understand why “7500” is an impressive film that uses real-time and confined space to its greatest advantage.

In our review of the new feature, we said, “Nothing extraordinary occurs within the confines of this suffocating cockpit, but the film is lean, cynical, and unforgiving. Every instance of cheer-inducing heroism or unforeseen twist, on the whole, earns its place.”

“7500” is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. You can watch the new clip below:
