Based on Andrew Haig‘s 2014 stage play, “Pressure” follows two Allied leaders as they get ready to launch D-Day and change the course of World War II. The new trailer, linked below, features Fraser’s General Eisenhower and Scott’s Captain James Stagg as they take stock of their highly risky plan to invade France by sea.

Here’s an official synopsis for “Pressure,” courtesy of Focus Features:

In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and with the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, PRESSURE follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they face an impossible choice—launch the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.

Along with Scott and Fraser, “Pressure” also stars Kerry Condon, Chris Messina, Damian Lewis, Henry Ashton, Con O’Neill, and Toby Williams.

Andrew Maras directs a script he co-writes with Haig for “Pressure.” Producers on the film include Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Cass Marks, and Lucas Webb. Executive producers include Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern, Joe Naftalin, Maras, Angela Moneke, and Sheeraz Shah.

“Pressure” hits theaters on May 29. Watch the new trailer for the WWII drama below.
