Moviehole reports that “Transmission” is in the works with Bob Hoskins, Jason Flemyng (“Snatch,” “The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen”) and Talulah Riley (“St. Trinian’s,” “The Boat That Rocked”) set to star and Willem Dafoe in talks. Described as “Pitch Black” meets “28 Days Later” the film is “centered around an alien invasion during an solar eclipse.”
The will be shot in 3D (of course) with “Battlefield Earth” director Roger Christian in talks to direct which should really tell you all you need to know.
