‘All Night Wrong’ Trailer: Zach Cherry & Maria Bakalova Discover A Dead Body With $40,000 In Cash For One-Night-Stand Dark Comedy Coming In August

All Night Wrong” is an upcoming two-hander dark comedy movie featuring Zach Cherry (“Severance”) and Oscar-nominated actress Maria Bakalova (“The Apprentice,” “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”) as a duo of lead characters that are itching for a one-night stand, who instead of getting their rocks-off discover a dead body and bag of cash ($40,000) in the trunk of a stolen car of a killer, while trying to get a room at a motel.

We’ll also see Canadian actors Emily Hampshire (“Schitt’s Creek”) and Tyler Labine (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) among the film’s supporting cast of “All Night Wrong,” which is helmed by Jason James (“Entanglement”) from a script penned by Jason Filiatrault (“Entanglement”).

An official logline for the new flick provided by Voltage Pictures:

Gary (Cherry) and Ell (Bakalova) expect a straightforward hookup after meeting online – instead, they get a suspicious motel clerk, a stolen car, a backpack full of cash, and a body. Too compromised to call police, the two decide to handle it themselves. But the body won’t stay dead, and a cryptic plea sends them chasing a trail of blackmail, betrayal, and lost love before the night’s true villain is revealed. Equal parts dark comedy and crime thriller, it’s the worst and best first date imaginable.

The producing team includes James, Amber Ripley, and Richard Kondal, alongside executive producers Sara Shaak, Nicolas Chartier, Alexandra Cocean, Andrew Frank, Filiatrault, Angela Demo, Jennifer Eriksson, Patrick Fischer, Dasha Sherman, Rob Small, and Li Ma.
