At This Rate, Even You Have A Chance At A Team-Up With Cee-Lo Or Gnarls Barkley

Is Gnarls Barkley that discerning? On the surface, their various projects sound above the board, but on closer inspection, maybe not so much. Danger “Stuff That White People Like” Mouse is working/has worked with Beck, Sparklehorse*, the Black Keys, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, MF Doom and even seminal spousal-abuser Ike Turner.

His better half Cee-Lo has just worked with the White Stripes’ Jack White on… a cover of “Kung Fu Fighting,” for the animated film “Kung Fu Panda,” ugh. Now comes word that the tumescent Gnarls singer has worked with cheeseball dance DJ Paul Oakenfold for the song “Fallin'” from “The Bourne Conspiracy” video game soundtrack.

Falling sounds about right, because their stock is quickly plummeting.

*PS no Black person in the United States has ever heard one second of Sparklehorse or the Black Keys aside from Brian Burton, that is patented fact.
