'Avengers: Endgame' Honest Trailer Still Can't Figure Out Time Travel & Asks For 'Rat Man & Time Van' Disney+ Series

Much like Thanos, the Honest Trailer for “Avengers: Endgame” was inevitable. And much like the actual film itself, the Screen Junkies have crafted a video that is maybe a bit long but crammed with enough crowd-pleasing moments, you’ll likely forget the runtime and just want to watch it again.

With “Avengers: Endgame” now available on digital, with the Blu-ray coming in a week, the folks at Screen Junkies have released the Honest Trailer for the biggest film of all-time (not counting inflation, which box office nerds will always point out) and it’s definitely a gargantuan task.

Taking over 3-hours of material and cramming it into just over seven-and-a-half minutes isn’t easy, but this Honest Trailer manages to do it, with enough time to point out all the minor quibbles fans have been debating for months since the film’s original release.

How does time travel work exactly? Why did they leave out the culmination of Hulk’s struggle from ‘Infinity War?’ Is ‘Endgame’ all just one big ad for Disney+ streaming series and the future films of the MCU? The answers are clear: 1) we still don’t know, 2) because Hulk dab was too funny to pass up, and 3) obviously, because that’s how Marvel Studios operates.

Unlike Honest Trailers for some, uh, lesser films, the overall tone of the ‘Endgame’ video is less making fun of the film and more just pointing out the nitpicks and weird issues with the 22nd film in the MCU. At this point, Marvel Studios knows how to make a good film, so if you’re going to have issues with it (besides your deep-seated hatred of superhero films), then you’re likely going to have to get granular.
