There has been a lot of hype surrounding “Back in Action.” From the moment it was announced, folks have been excited to see the film, since it was the movie that brought Cameron Diaz out of retirement. Now, we’re only a couple of months away from checking it out.

As seen in the trailer for the film, “Back in Action” stars Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx as a married couple with a secret past. When bad guys come to take them out, Diaz and Foxx have to explain to their children that they used to be CIA agents, and now, they’re, uh, back in action. Get it?
The film stars Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, and Jamie Demetriou. As mentioned, it’s the first film for Diaz in more than a decade. She previously worked with Foxx on the musical film, “Annie.”
“Back in Action” is directed by Seth Gordon, who co-wrote the script alongside Brendan O’Brien. Gordon is probably best known for his comedic work in films like “Horrible Bosses” and “Identity Thief.” His most recent film is 2017’s “Baywatch.”
