‘On Becoming a God In Central Florida’ Trailer: Kirsten Dunst Becomes A Pyramid Scheme Scam Artist For Showtime

Kirsten Dunst doesn’t really work that much. That’s not a diss, it’s more statement of fact. Much like her “Spider-Man” co-star Tobey Maguire, her face isn’t everywhere and much like Tobey Maguire, I suspect it’s for good reason: both of them are swimming in “Spider-Man” residuals and none of them need to work much. This is a privileged position to be in, but perhaps more importantly from an artistic perspective, a terrific position to be in because it means you show up when you really want to act and work. I.e., the material is great. So, yes, while we saw Dunst in “Fargo” in 2015, look at her CV; it’s absolutely not overflowing with work.

It’s also executive produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov and their Smokehouse production company (“Ides Of March,” “Argo,” “Ocean’s 8“).
