Barry Keoghan is one of the most in-demand actors working today. Thanks to an incredible role in last year’s hit film, “Saltburn,” Keoghan is now getting offers left and right, including a rumored role in Sam Mendes’ Beatles film series. But before that, he’s set to appear in “Bring Them Down.”
As seen in the teaser for “Bring Them Down,” the film follows the story the story of a bitter rivalry between farmers in Ireland. The film stars Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott. “Bring Them Down” is the feature filmmaking debut for Christopher Andrews.
We were able to see “Bring Them Down” during its run at this year’s TIFF, and in our review, we said, “There is some good landscape photography in ‘Bring Them Down,’ as befits a film set in the Irish countryside. A couple of well-staged “action” moments also shine. Performances are well-judged as both Abbott and Keoghan are safe hands and intuitive performers. The American Abbott deserves extra credit for nailing his Irish accent and delivering much of his dialog in Irish.”
“Bring Them Down” is expected to arrive in theaters on February 7. You can watch the teaser below.
Here’s the synopsis:
