Captain America Gives A Stirring Speech In Latest 'Avengers: Endgame' Ad

If you watch the 30-second teaser that was just released for “Avengers: Endgame” and don’t smile, laugh, and get goosebumps, do you even Marvel, bro?

As we approach the final stages of “Avengers: Endgame” marketing, with the film’s impending release in a couple of weeks, the very secretive studio is opening up just a little bit with some brief new footage that once again gets fans hyped for the film, while also not really saying anything. But hey, there are some serious plot nuggets in this clip that fans will no doubt analyze, theorize, and dissect for days.

The clip shows much of the same footage we’ve seen, but does add one little brief scene where the not-dusted remaining Avengers are in their space suits and talking about the plan to take out Thanos. Well, not really talking about the plan, more like saying there’s a plan.

Honestly, there are a couple of big takeaways fans can get from this new ad. First, the plot seems to include a plan for the Avengers to split up on separate missions that are all vitally important to take out Thanos. Theories have ranged from time-travel, inter-dimensional travel, and Ant-Man going up Thanos’ anus (the now-infamous “Thanus” hypothesis), so really we have no clue where the Russos are going with this.

Another takeaway is that Chris Evans as Captain America will no doubt steal this film. It’s clear that Robert Downey, Jr. got a lot of love in ‘Infinity War,’ and now it’s Cap’s time to shine, as he gives a pretty great, moving pep talk, as the character is known to do. And finally, there will be humor! Even though the trailers and ads seemed to point to ‘Endgame’ being a dour affair, Rocket and Scott Lang (aka Ant-Man) are still there to deliver the snappy one-liners that will no doubt make people LOL in the theater.

All told, there’s a lot going on in the 30-second ad, with Marvel Studios teasing more as the days go by. Don’t worry fans, the film is coming soon, and as Doctor Strange would say, “We’re in the endgame now.”

“Avengers: Endgame” hits theaters on April 26.
