'Coup de Chance' Trailer: Woody Allen's Latest Romantic Thriller Has Its World Premiere At The Venice Film Festival

It’s been three years since Woody Allen‘s last film, “Rifkin’s Festival,” which came and went without much fanfare, even with the COVID-19 pandemic going on. And at age 87, many didn’t expect Allen to keep working post-pandemic. Yet here he is, with a new film to debut at the Venice Film Festival next month. Will Allen’s presence on the Lido be a troubling one, given his reputation? Venice creative director Alberto Barbera doesn’t care, saying “I don’t see where the issue is” in regards to Allen and fellow director Roman Polanski coming to Venice with new films.

But what’s Allen’s latest film about, anyway?
