In a not-so-shocking development, the Academy has revealed that the five original song nominees will be performed on the 92nd Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 9. This is usually an Oscars tradition, although producers have eliminated some less known songs in the past. This year’s performers will include Oscar-nominees in this category, Randy Newman, Cynthia Erivo and Elton John. Oh, don’t worry, Idina Menzel is going to belt out “Into the Unknown” from “Frozen II” and hopefully at a reasonable hour for the kids watching at home.

The Academy also announced that Questlove will make a special appearance and that Eimear Noone will guest-conduct a segment. Noone will become the first woman to conduct during an Oscars telecast. One can assume that Questlove is either opening the show or singing during the In Memoriam.
Here is a list of the Original Song nominees and the confirmed performers.
