It’s that time of year again, when Marvel Studios releases a new film and social media reactions from the press screening come pouring in. So, with the press screening for “Deadpool & Wolverine” happening last night, let’s take a look at what people are saying about the only Marvel Studios film to be released this year.

As with all of these types of articles, please keep that grain of salt handy, as these press screening reactions seem to always be a bit hyperbolic with their praise. That’s not to say that “Deadpool & Wolverine” is a bad film, but there are folks out there saying it’s the best Marvel movie to date, which seems a bit overboard.
Our own Editor-in-Chief, Rodrigo Perez has his own thoughts on the matter, and he seems to be one of the few critics out there who wasn’t overjoyed leaving the screening.
He wrote on Twitter, “Not a slam dunk, but entertaining. Works better as a comedy more than anything else (the funny shit is LOL). I have lots of little quibbles, but I enjoyed it enough. When it’s fun, it’s fun af, but started to get a bit repetitive and fan servicey by the end.”

LFG! Absolutely loved #DeadpoolAndWolverine – yes the cameos and surprises are epic, and the humor, action, blood-soaked fights and needle drops are tremendous, too… but it’s the respect and love for the characters that win you over.

Deadpool and Wolverine is a game changer for the MCU as it is the biggest, boldest, and most badass MCU film since Infinity War and Endgame. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are the ultimate duo we've all been waiting for! #DeadpoolAndWolverine @MarvelStudios pic.twitter.com/p5wrNqD4rk

#DeadpoolAndWolverine is one amazing F-Bomb, Slice and Dice, good nasty Multiverse Madness. Pushing Disney's limits (could go further imo) while being Sassy, poking fun and owning a good story and flow overall. The Duo shined the most (of course) but Every-single(s)-other-person… pic.twitter.com/7JBJ1BNhmL

It goes without saying that #DeadpoolAndWolverine absolutely KILLS it!

Ryan and Hugh brought their all into it, the R-rated action is still as gory as ever, and the cameos, when present, felt like they mostly fit well enough the story.
Yep, BIGGER implications are coming! 👀 pic.twitter.com/uv1Wo4pyLb
Yes #DeadpoolAndWolverine is a 4-star movie. I didn’t expect to like it so much. Full review soon. And yes, Like a Prayer will get a huge boost from this. pic.twitter.com/BNAIhHjast

LETS F**KING GO!!!!#DeadpoolAndWolverine WAS A BLAST!! The chemistry between Hugh and Ryan is DYNAMITE! Exquisite action sequences, undeniable comedy and cameos that enhanced the story!

I can’t wait to watch it again! 🤩 pic.twitter.com/XaTT3Sov67
The opening scene, cameos, soundtrack and unhinged humor makes #deadpoolandwolverine the most fun I’ve had at a Marvel movie since “Spiderman: No Way Home”. The overall story could’ve been better but who cares when there’s lots of blood and a raging Wolverine?! pic.twitter.com/LG67yB14V5
