There’s no denying the hype surrounding “Die, My Love.” Well, the hype around here, at least. The film did land at #2 on our Most Anticipated of 2025 list. But that’s to be expected when Lynne Ramsay takes her sweet time between films. At least now, we get our first look at the film.

As if a new film from acclaimed filmmaker Lynne Ramsay wasn’t enough, the cast for “Die, My Love” is led by the trio of Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, and LaKeith Stanfield. Those are three of the very best actors working today. The film tells the story of a woman (Lawrence) in rural America who is engulfed in love and madness. Pattinson plays the woman’s husband, while Stanfield plays her lover.
Ramsay is one of the best filmmakers around, having previously helmed films such as “You Were Never Really Here,” “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” and “Ratcatcher.” Sadly, it’s been nearly eight years since the release of “You Were Never Really Here,” so the world is primed and ready for a new film.
While there’s no release date set for “Die, My Love,” this film has awards season written all over it. It would be shocking if a studio didn’t snatch this up and have it ready by next fall. And it almost assuredly will play at various festivals, depending on when it’s ready to go.
