George R.R. Martin is best known as the writer behind the “Game of Thrones” fantasy novel series. But that’s not all Martin has written. In fact, one of his non-‘Thrones’ works is getting the big screen treatment with the release of “In the Lost Lands.”

As seen in the trailer for the film, “In the Lost Lands” tells the story of a sorceress on the hunt for a magical power. She hires a rough-and-tumble guide to lead her through the Lost Lands. However, they’re not the only people looking for the power, as the sorceress and her guide fight malevolent forces.
The film stars Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista. It’s directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who is probably best known for directing “Resident Evil” years and years ago. More recently, he directed 2020’s “Monster Hunter.” He’s also no stranger to working with Jovovich, having her star in most of his works. It also doesn’t hurt that the duo are married.
“In the Lost Lands” is set to arrive in theaters on March 7. You can watch the trailer below.
