Comedian, musician, actor, writer, producer, and director Donald Glover is proving that he’s got creative juices for every occasion. He took to Twitter this week to mention he’s working on a trilogy of feature films. More specifically, writing a trilogy.

What those movies are is uncertain, but we could learn further details in the future. The films are likely part of his multi-year deal with Amazon that was announced back in February. Glover is obviously not a stranger to writing or directing. He’s directed many of his own music videos, episodes of “Atlanta” and has dozens of writing credits, including “30 Rock,” “Atlanta,” and “Guava Island,” the movie he starred in with Rihanna and Letitia Wright in 2019.

Donald briefly mentioned that Season 3 of his popular FX series “Atlanta” will begin airing sometime at the beginning of 2022. He previously confirmed on social media that Season 3 of “Atlanta” is currently in production.

Both posts were deleted from Donald Glover’s account, luckily, some folks on Twitter captured the audio posts and re-upped them.

We’re still waiting to hear if he’ll be indeed leading Lucasfilm’s “Lando” series on Disney+ that could see Mr. Glover continue playing the charming “Star Wars” space pirate beyond “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” Speaking of “Star Wars,” Glover is teaming up with his “Solo” co-star Pheobe Waller-Bridge for a series reboot of Doug Liman‘s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” for Amazon Prime Video that originally starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a married couple that discovers each other is a high-priced assassin.
