Starring Casey Affleck, Zooey Deschanel, Chris Messina, and Noah Jupe, “Dreamin’ Wild” is a musical biography film that asks the question, “What if your dreams came true three decades later?” set against music, love, family, and guilt.
Dreamin’ Wild was the title of an album Donnie and Joe Emerson recorded when they were teens that did not garner commercial success. Thirty years later, however, the Emerson duo learns that the album has reached and been embraced by a new generation. The excitement of this news is met by the ghosts of a once-musical prodigy and the complexities of his present life.
“Dreamin’ Wild” premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2022 before showing at other festivals and inevitably reaching theatres this past August. Now, in association with Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions, the film is hitting VOD and Digital platforms.
