As we prepare for the release of Pixar’s newest film, “Elemental,” it’s time to start thinking about the future. And we know Pixar loves to tease the next thing right as they release the current film. So, with that in mind, here’s a teaser for “Elio.”
As seen in the trailer for “Elio,” the film follows the story of a young boy, Elio, as he accidentally gets transported to an alien world where everyone assumes he is the leader of Earth. As you might imagine, this leads to all sorts of fish-out-of-water hijinks.
The film stars the vocal talents of America Ferrera, Yonas Kibreab, Jameela Jamil, and Brad Garrett. Adding to the pedigree of the film is director Adrian Molina, who previously wrote and co-directed the acclaimed Pixar film, “Coco.”

Here’s the synopsis:
For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers—in Disney and Pixar’s all-new movie “Elio,” the universe calls back! The original feature film introduces Elio, an underdog with an active imagination who finds himself inadvertently beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, and completely unprepared for that kind of pressure, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, survive a series of formidable trials and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.
