Ready for a return trip to France? Netflix’s popular series “Emily in Paris” is back for a third season. When viewers last left the title character, she was facing personal and professional choices that change everything. At work, Emily must decide if Savoir is really where she should be. Affairs of the heart are equally complicated as the Chicago girl has an impossible choice between Alfie or the seemingly unavailable Gabriel.
Creator Darren Star is back again in his role as showrunner. His credits are a litany of classic series ranging from the teen drama of “Beverly Hills:90210” to the romantic comedy “Younger.” One of his most famous creations, “Sex in the City,” is itself seeing a resurgence thanks to HBO Max’s “And Just Like That..”
Star isn’t the only major name returning for the third season. Lily Collins leads a cast of familiar faces, including Lucas Bravo as Gabriel. Lucien Laviscount — who became a fan favorite after his second-season story arc — continues in the role of Alfie. Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, and William Abadie also star.
The series’ official third season synopsis:
One year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life — and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.
