There is nothing complicated about Josh Waller‘s “Raze.” It’s a straight up genre flick, but served with a twist, putting women in the ass-kicking lead roles in the space that’s usually reserved for men. And that gives the film a certain flavor you might want to check out as it heads to home video.
Starring Zoe Bell (“Death Proof,” “Planet Terror“) and Rachel Nichols (“Conan The Barbarian,” “G.I. Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra“), the story centers on Jamie, who awakens to find herself in a concrete bunker where she meets fellow abductee Sabrina. The women soon discover that they are in a modern-day coliseum where they and 48 other women have been selected to fight to the death, and only one can survive. It’s harrowing stuff and it won’t be easy to escape, and as you’ll see in this exclusive deleted scene, trying to earn sympathy will only get these women in further trouble.
