So, “Riverdale” is back from its hiatus which means we are back on the Cole Sprouse train (which we aren’t sorry about).
The star made a splash as Cody on “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody” and then just when we thought we had maybe seen the last of him, he came back into our lives, and into our hearts, as Jughead on “Riverdale.” Now, he’s stealing someone else’s heart as Will Newman in “Five Feet Apart.”
Stella Grant is your average teenager. She spends her time with her friends and on her laptop; however, there’s one slight difference between her and the average teenager. Stella lives in a hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries, and self-control, that is until she meets Will. Although there is an instant flirtation, Will is also a CF patient, so there are restrictions they must follow. One of those restrictions? Maintaining a safe distance between them– 6 feet.

Do they maintain a safe distance? Well, we don’t like to spoil things but as the trailer below shows and as the title hints, they break that rule… but only by a foot. As they become closer, Stella seems to gradually disregard the rules as she tries to inspire Will to live life to the fullest.
It’s slowly becoming the age of the rom-com, and in the vein of “A Walk to Remember” and “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Five Feet Apart” is seemingly an inspiring tale of young love.
Starring alongside Sprouse is Haley Lu Richardson, fellow Disney alum Moises Arias, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Parminder Nagra, and Claire Forlani.
The film is directed by Justin Baldoni, who is best known for the romantic comedy-drama “Jane the Virgin,” so this sort of film is right up his alley.
“Five Feet Apart” is hits theaters, everywhere, March 22.
