Addiction is a terrible disease. That’s not a revelatory statement, obviously, but it’s something that is readily apparent from the trailer for the new drama, “Four Good Days.”
As seen in the trailer for “Four Good Days,” the film follows the story of a young woman that is addicted to heroin and has to continue to detox for four more days before she is available to receive a treatment that could put her on the path to recovery. And obviously, when you’re dealing with opioid addiction, four days can feel like an eternity.
The film stars Mila Kunis as Molly, the addict that has been in and out of recovery more than a dozen times. Starring opposite Kunis is the legendary actress, Glenn Close, who plays her estranged mother that has to safeguard Molly for the better part of a week to make sure she doesn’t relapse before she can get the life-saving treatment. The film is directed by Rodrigo Garcia.

In an emotional journey based on a true story by Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post writer Eli Saslow, 31-year-old Molly begs her estranged mother Deb for help fighting a fierce battle against the demons that have derailed her life.
