It’s been six years since the world fell in love with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven in Disney’s animated blockbuster “Frozen.” The film earned more than $1.2 billion and became an instant classic thanks to the lovable new characters, the strong writing, and of course, the music. Now, Disney is hoping to replicate that success with the aptly titled, “Frozen 2.”
As seen in the new trailer, “Frozen 2” features the return of all your favorite characters. However, in this installment, Elsa and the gang have to venture to a faraway land to find the answer to the mystery surrounding her powers. Along the way, hijinks ensue. I mean, this is a Disney film, after all.

The real question is whether or not “Frozen 2” will have the type of mega-hit song like “Let It Go?” That song became a massive hit that anyone with ears couldn’t escape. Obviously, Disney is going to do everything in its power to make sure the sequel features a smash hit along the same lines.
The voice cast for the animated sequel includes Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad. “Frozen 2” also sees the return of Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the writing and directing team that won an Oscar for their work on the original hit film.
“Frozen 2” arrives in theaters on November 22.
