Any parent’s worst nightmare would be that something bad happens to their child. That’s why kidnapping films and TV series have always struck a chord because the tension and emotions experienced by the parents attempting to find their missing kid are universal. Everyone can relate. But what if there is more to the story than just a simple kidnapping? That’s explored in Steven Soderbergh’s new series, “Full Circle.”
As seen in the trailer for “Full Circle,” the new six-episode limited series follows the story of two parents desperately trying to find their missing son, who was seemingly kidnapped. However, when an investigation is conducted, there are discoveries that shine a not-so-flattering light on the parents. What secrets are they hiding, and how is it affecting the search for their missing son?
The series features an all-star ensemble cast that includes Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant, CCH Pounder, Phaldut Sharma, Adia, Sheyi Cole, Gerald Jones, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes, and Dennis Quaid. “Full Circle” is written by Ed Solomon and directed by Steven Soderbergh. Most recently, the duo of Solomon and Soderbergh combined forces to work on the Max film, “No Sudden Move.” Prior to that, they also worked together on the experimental TV series, “Mosaic.”
“Full Circle” debuts on Max on July 13. You can watch the trailer below.
