Is there anything Netflix can’t do? Sure, critics might’ve dimmed their lights on “Bright,” but there was apparently enough interest from actual audiences: they’ve gone ahead and greenlit a sequel. Their original film slate continues to diversify — last year alone included satire “War Machine,” political fantasy “Okja,” and indie dramedy “The Meyerowitz Stories (New And Selected)” — and now the streaming giant is taking a swing a big, studio style comedy.

The powerhouse trio of Scott Rudin, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg are among the producers of “Game Over, Man!” Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson, take the lead roles the picture, in what looks like a bromantic comedy version of “Die Hard.” Here’s the handy logline:
Three friends must level-up and become heroes when their workplace, a Los Angeles hotel, is taken hostage by evil gunmen seeking a large ransom.
Directed by Kyle Newacheck (“Workaholics“), “Game Over, Man!” (not really sure what that title means, and I honestly thought this was a movie about gamers at first) hits Netflix on March 23rd.
