How do you accurately describe the ways in which Tim Robinson’s “I Think You Should Leave” is one of the best shows on TV? The sketch comedy series is absurd in ways that might shock you, with the first season featuring plenty of references to “mud pies,” and an entire sketch devoted to a woman that owns the home of the artist behind the “Garfield” comic strip. Imagine ‘SNL’ crossed with a decent amount of drugs and some truly incredible guest appearances. Plain and simple, it’s just magical. So, clearly, Season 2 is one of my most anticipated series of 2021 and judging by the trailer, it’s for good reason.

Much like describing “I Think You Should Leave” using mere words is somewhat futile and destroys the jokes, it’s also difficult to sum up what you can expect in an entire season of sketch comedy through out-of-context clips. Still, with that said, the clips shown in the trailer are funny, especially if you’re a fan of Season 1’s ridiculous humor.
Another thing that was true about Season 1 that continues in the new batch of episodes is the fact that Robinson is bringing along some really talented comedians to guest star in his sketches. Those folks include Bob Odenkirk, Brooks Wheelan, Gary Richardson, John Early, Julia Butters, Mike O’Brien, Patti Harrison, Paul Walter Hauser, Sam Richardson, and Tim Heidecker.
“I Think You Should Leave” Season 2 debuts on Netflix on July 6. You can watch the trailer below.
