Forget your morning cup of coffee — a brand new, full length trailer for Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" has just dropped. So cancel that meeting you're supposed to attend, close the office door and turn up the speakers.
Providing a pretty nice batch of new footage, mixed with extended bits of what we've seen before, Warner Bros.' excellent campaign for the movie continues to peel back the layers while keeping all the secrets intact. What have we learned from this latest trailer? Well, Batman will get the shit severely kicked out of him by Bane (the shot of the broken mask carries much more weight here), and it's not a shock that he winds up hobbling around with a cane. But we'd wager this is all early, first act stuff. As Bruce Wayne says later on, "I'm not afraid, I'm angry" — he'll clearly be out to not only save the city, but himself. And oh yeah, that Hans Zimmer score sounds fantastic (listen to a healthy chunk of it here).
We've said enough, watch it for yourself below. "The Dark Knight Rises" opens on July 20th. [Batman-News]
