Subterranean Homesick Trailer: I’m Not There International Version

Another day, another trailer and yet another post about “I’m Not There.” This should appeal to all the die-hards. It’s the international trailer for “I’m Not There” and it’s notable because a) it’s basically a video riff on “Subterranean Homesick Blues” famous anti-video (anticipating the music video by decades, not to mention reproaching it before it existed) and b) all of it’s footage isn’t seen in the movie at all. It’s also interesting because it’s the one of the few time outside of photos that you’ll see the color-version of Christian Bale’s protest-era Dylan, Jack Rollins. In the film, Rollins is rarely seen in color as his character is seen through the eyes of a documentary looking back on his life (the pastor Bale is definitely in color though, yes). Man, that’s a rather dorky observation, but yeah…
