She’s had five films hit cinemas this year — Woody Allen‘s “Café Society,” Olivier Assayas‘ “Personal Shopper,” Kelly Reichardt‘s “Certain Women,” Drake Doremus‘ “Equals” and Ang Lee‘s “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” — and just typing them out made us exhausted. And she’s capping of 2016 by joyously dancing and driving in the new video from The Rolling Stones, “Ride ‘Em On Down.”

Considering what artists have been doing with the medium lately in terms of making them cinematic, this feels like a throwback to simpler times, but not always in a good way.
