While we may have reached the point where the ubiquity of true crime dramas has already spawned satires, they still remain hugely popular. And following the huge success of “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” it looks like everyone is now digging through infamous court cases from the 1990s to dramatize. Up next will be NBC‘s “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.”
Edie Falco leads the show playing the attorney who defends twin brothers Eric and Lyle Menendez (played by Gus Halper and Miles Gaston Villanueva) when they’re charged with the shocking, brutal murders of their parents. It was a case that rocked high society, captured attention around the world, and created a media maelstrom. Here’s the official synopsis:
