'Goodbye Christopher Robin' Trailer With Margot Robbie

To the cynical, everyone’s favorite beloved bear, Winnie The Pooh, is now a piece of valuable IP just like everything else. However, each year, children discover the magic of the dour creature and his woodland friends, and it’s all thanks to the vision of A.A. Milne. Now, his story is being told in “Goodbye Christopher Robin.”

Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Will Tilston, Margot Robbie, and Kelly Macdonald, and directed by Simon Curtis (“My Week With Marilyn,” “Woman In Gold“), the film will detail Milne’s bond with his son, and how it inspired a character the entire world would fall in love with. GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN gives a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children’s author A. A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin (Will Tilston), whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh.  Along with his mother Daphne (Margot Robbie), and his nanny Olive (Kelly Macdonald), Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War.   But with the eyes of the world on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family?
