‘Loot’ Trailer: Season 3 Of Maya Rudolph’s Clueless Billionaire Apple Comedy Series Arrives Oct 15

The Season 2 finale of “Loot” left viewers hanging, as billionaire philanthropist Molly Wells (Maya Rudolph) fled a tense showdown with her fellow one-percenters — and a complicated spark with her colleague Arthur (Nat Faxon) — by boarding her private jet alongside loyal assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster).

Season 3 premieres October 15. Season three will feature special guest star appearances by Stephanie Styles, Adam Scott, D’Arcy Carden, Kesha, Zane Phillips, Henry Winkler, X Mayo, Paula Pell and more. With Rudolph front and center, a first-rate ensemble at her side, and creator Matt Hubbard (of “30 Rock” and “Parks and Recreation”) once again running the show, audiences can expect the same blend of sharp satire and heartfelt comedy.

“Loot” stars Maya Rudolph, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Joel Kim Booster, Ron Funches, and Nat Faxon. The series is written by Hubbard, and executive producers include Dave Becky, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Hubbard, Dean Holland, Natasha Lyonne, Rudolph, and Alan Yang.

The series follows Molly Novak, who, after divorcing her husband of twenty years, is left with an $87 billion settlement and must figure out what to do with her fortune. Season 3 continues Molly’s attempt to give her wealth away while deepening her personal and professional journey — and teasing the unresolved, will-they-won’t-they tension with Arthur.

Synopsis:

In “Loot,” Molly Wells (Rudolph) embarks on a journey of self-discovery after getting an $87 billion divorce settlement from her wealthy tech billionaire husband of 20 years, John Novak (Adam Scott), and we find her thriving in her role as the head of her philanthropic organization, the Wells Foundation. Molly has landed the jet for season three, with viewers left on the edge of their seats following the season two finale that saw Wells and her trusted assistant, Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster), board Molly’s private jet with her orders to take her as far away as possible after blowback from her fellow billionaires about stepping up philanthropy and her awkward exchange with her will-they, won’t-they colleague, Arthur (Nat Faxon).

The upcoming season will also continue to follow the antics of the beloved group of misfits at The Wells Foundation as they work together so Molly can live up to her promise of giving away all of her vast fortune.

Apple TV+ will release Season 3 of “Loot” on October 15.
