'Love Wedding Repeat' Trailer: Netflix Invites You To Relive A Terrible Wedding Over And Over Again

Weddings are stressful, even when everything goes right. But when things go wrong, such as problematic guests and a misplaced sedative, weddings can be awful. And that’s exactly what happens in the upcoming film “Love Wedding Repeat.”

As seen in the new teaser for the Netflix film, “Love Wedding Repeat” tells the story of a couple that is set to be married when all hell breaks loose. There are guests threatening to ruin everything, including a drunk guy hoping to wreck the whole thing to show his love for the bride and a beautiful woman that has caught the eye of the groom. And when a plan to sedate one of the guests goes awry, that’s when all the craziness really happens. Oh yeah, and throw in some “Groundhog Day”-esque time shenanigans and you’ve got what Netflix is calling an “innovative romantic comedy.”

The cast of the rom-com includes Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joel Fry, Tim Key, Aisling Bea, Jack Farthing, Allan Mustafa, and Freida Pinto. The film is written and directed by Dean Craig, who is probably best known for his script for the film “Death at a Funeral.” He’s making his directorial debut with this project.

“Love Wedding Repeat” is set to debut on Netflix on April 10.

Here’s the synopsis:

In this innovative romantic comedy about the power of chance, alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack (Sam Claflin) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day. But he’ll have to juggle an angry ex-girlfriend, an uninvited guest with a secret, a misplaced sleep sedative, and unexpectedly reuniting with the girl of his dreams who got away, Dina (Olivia Munn). If he succeeds, Jack might find a happy ending of his own.
