Got a Tip?

‘Made For Love’ Teaser: Ray Romano Performs Beyonce’s Crazy In Love’ In First Peek At The New HBO Max Series

Unless you believe all those ridiculous conspiracy theories on social media, as of right now, there aren’t any tech billionaires secretly trying to put monitoring devices into our brains. But in the upcoming HBO Max series, “Made for Love,” that’s a very real consequence in the failing marriage of a tech billionaire and his wife.

As seen in the trailer for “Made for Love,” a young woman is attempting to escape a terribly toxic marriage she has been subjected to for 10 years. There’s just one big problem—her soon-to-be ex-husband has secretly implanted a chip in her brain that allows him to track her, watch her, and monitor her emotions. This obviously isn’t the best situation to find yourself in if you’re a woman trying to regain her independence. Oh and if that’s not enough to get you to watch the teaser, how about Ray Romano performing the Beyonce hit, “Crazy in Love?”

The Max Original stars Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Dan Bakkedahl, Noma Dumezweni, Augusto Aguilera, and Ray Romano.

“Made for Love” arrives on HBO Max in April. You can watch the teaser below.

Here’s the synopsis for the series:

The comedy series is a darkly absurd and cynically poignant story of love and divorce. It follows Hazel Green (Cristin Milioti), a thirty-something woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to Byron Gogol (Billy Magnussen), a controlling tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has implanted a monitoring device – the Made for Love chip – in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her, and know her “emotional data” as she tries to regain her independence. Through the chip, Byron’s able to watch Hazel’s every move as she flees to her desert hometown to take refuge with her aging widower father Herbert (Ray Romano) and his synthetic partner, Diane.
