‘Marshals’ Trailer: Luke Grimes Leads Latest ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff As Neo-Western Thriller Series Debuts March 1 On CBS & Paramount+

The “Yellowstone” saga continues with Luke Grimes‘ “Marshals” (formerly, “Y: Marshalls“), seeing the country singer turned actor reprising the role of Kacye Dutton as he now enters the world of rural law enforcement after his time as a Navy SEAL and moving past his time as a cowboy on his family’s expansive ranch.

With the show debuting in early March, we have a new promotional trailer showcasing what audiences can expect from the modern-era spinoff from the “Yellowstone” franchise. A supporting cast built around Grimes consists of Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, Mo Brings Plenty, Brecken Merrill, and Gil Birmingham.

Spencer Hudnut showruns after co-creating “Marshals” alongside Taylor Sheridan and David C. Glasser. The show’s executive producer team features Sheridan, Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Hudnut, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Freidman, Luke Grimes, and Greg Yaitanes.

An official logline for the new show via Paramount Television:

“Marshals” stars Luke Grimes, reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana. Kayce and his teammates – Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means) – must balance the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence with their duty to their families, which for Kayce includes his son Tate (Brecken Merrill) and his confidantes Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) and Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) from the Broken Rock reservation.
