'My Happy Ending' Trailer: Andie MacDowell Stars As An Actress On A Healing Journey On February 24

Can personal connections heal the mind as well as the body? An actress discovers more than she expected in her search for medical treatment in “My Happy Ending.”

In the upcoming film, Andie MacDowell plays an actress whose medical issues lead her on an unexpected journey of self-discovery. Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

Andie MacDowell stars as a famous actor who goes incognito to seek treatment for a medical issue.   While at the hospital, she meets three unique and remarkable women — an aging rocker, a young mother, and a forever single retired schoolteacher. Together, they help her face adversity with humor and camaraderie while coaching her for the most challenging role she has ever played…herself. 

Alongside MacDowell, “My Happy Ending” also stars Miriam Margolyes, Sally Phillips, Rakhee Thakrar, Tamsin Greig, Tom Cullen, Michelle Greenidge, and David Walliams. Tal Granit and Sharon Maymom direct a script by Rona Tamir, which adapts Anat Gov‘s play “Happy End.”
