‘Narcos: Mexico’ Season 3 Teaser: The Acclaimed Netflix Drama Series Will Come To An End In November

Not only is Season 3 the final batch of episodes for “Narcos: Mexico,” but it also marks a new beginning for the series. Jumping ahead to the ‘90s, ‘Mexico’ continues the story but shows just how the results of Season 2 have greatly affected the world of cartels, as a new generation of kingpins emerges to take over. The series stars Scoot McNairy, José María Yázpik, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Alberto Guerra, Luisa Rubino, Alfonso Dosal, Mayra Hermosillo, Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda, Gorka Lasaosa, and Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Perhaps the biggest change for “Narcos: Mexico” comes behind the scenes with Eric Newman being replaced by Carlo Bernard as showrunner. But considering the time-jump in-between seasons, now seems like a great time to have a change in leadership for the series. Interestingly, the star of the first two ‘Mexico’ seasons, Wagner Moura, returns for Season 3, but only as a director for a couple of episodes.
