It’s that time of year again — Fall Previews!
While we are still preparing our highly-anticipated Fall Preview feature, we wanted to take a moment to highlight EW’s recent preview. While they didn’t share much news for the 60+ films they covered, there are a slew of new images to some of this year’s most must-see films.
Some of the highlights include a new look at Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming “Suspira,” as well as new pictures from “The Front Runner,” from director Jason Reitman and starring Hugh Jackman and comedy “Holmes and Watson” from the “Step Brothers” duo of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
Perhaps, of all the dozens of pictures, the winner is “Suspiria.” Yes, we have a trailer for the film, and we’ve already seen a couple official looks. However, none of that can prepare you for the style seen in this new picture, which features Dakota Johnson surrounded by her dance troupe. The film, which features the actress finding out that the aforementioned troupe isn’t what it seems to be, is a project that is getting a lot of Oscar buzz and was recently revealed to have a 152-minute runtime. So clearly, we don’t have a clue what’s in store for us later this year.
Overall, if you’re looking to get hyped about the major films coming out this fall, EW has some new pics to hold you over until they hit theaters.
Here are some of the better pictures we found in the EW piece:
