Nicolas Cage Is Stranded At Sea In New Trailer For 'USS Indianapolis: Men Of Courage'

This spring, the first trailer for “USS Indianapolis: Men Of Courage” arrived promising that it would be “coming soon.” Well, here we are a few months later, and the movie is still without a U.S. distributor, or any kind of buzz really — but it has opened in the Philippines (which is appropriate, given the story, as you’ll soon find out), and a new promo has landed for the watery, wartime adventure movie.

Directed by Mario Van Peebles, who also has a role in the film, Nicolas Cage leads the WWII movie as Captain McVay, who has to leads his crew of the USS Indianapolis in a fight for survival, when their ship is sunk at sea by the Japanese, leaving them adrift and facing not just heat and thirst, but sharks. No, really. Nic Cage will take on sharks in a WWII movie, which is probably what I should have told you off the top.

Check out the new trailer. I’d assume this will eventually arrive on VOD at some point.
